Starlink installation in Vienna & surroundings by Skyline Bau

Our partner company Skyline Bau GmbH mounts your Starlink antenna on the roof or facade – with tidy cable routing, a sealed wall entry and the best router position.

In short: Starlink works best with a clear view of the sky. A kickstand in the garden is fine for testing, but a fixed installation on roof, gable, facade or mast is what makes it reliably stable. In Vienna & surroundings our partner Skyline Bau GmbH handles site check, mounting, cable routing into the house and router placement. You get a fixed price after a short site visit or based on photos.

What we do for you

Service What it means
Site check Using the Starlink app’s obstruction check we find the spot with the clearest view – trees, neighbouring buildings and roof structures are the usual culprits.
Mounting On roof, gable, facade, balcony or mast – matched to the building and surface, with wind load and structure in mind.
Cable routing Cable run from the antenna into the house, sealed wall entry, routed as discreetly as possible.
Router placement Where the Wi-Fi reaches the whole house – with a mesh system via the Ethernet adapter if needed.
Function test We check connection, obstruction map and Wi-Fi coverage together with you.

How it works

  1. Enquiry by e-mail or WhatsApp – with location/postcode, type of building and preferred position.
  2. Photos or a short site visit: roof, facade and preferred router spot. Good photos are often enough.
  3. Fixed-price quote for your site – no hidden extras.
  4. Order Starlink (if you haven’t yet) – directly on starlink.com.
  5. Installation date, setup and handover with a short introduction to the app.

What does installation cost?

It depends on the building, height, type of mount and cable route – a detached house with a gable is different from a flat roof on a commercial building. So we don’t quote flat rates here; you get a fixed price after a short site visit or based on photos. Starlink hardware and plan are not included – you order those directly from Starlink.

FAQ

Which area do you cover?

Vienna and surroundings. For sites a little further out, just ask – we decide case by case.

Do I need the Starlink kit already?

No. You can enquire first; we’ll tell you which kit makes sense for your site. You then order directly from Starlink.

Can’t I just set it up myself?

You can – the kickstand in the kit is fine for a garden test. For a permanently stable, obstruction-free connection, secure fixing in wind and tidy cabling into the house, a fixed installation pays off.

Do I need permission?

For rented and owner-occupied flats you usually need consent from the landlord or owners’ association. Protected zones or special facades may have rules – check with property management or the municipality if in doubt. We point this out during the site visit.
